Overview

Palma is a city bursting with ancient history and modern culture. Take a self-guided audio walk with Sandra, a longtime resident, to find out what stories and anecdotes its streets have to tell.

Starting in the majestic Parc de la Mar, you’ll trace the path of history from the ancient Talayotic culture through the Spanish Inquisition and the elegance of old Palma to end the walk in the vibrant Plaça de Cort. Along the way, you’ll explore the city’s churches, bars and gorgeous courtyards.

The tour is ready whenever you are. It plays audio automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smart phone's GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app, which also works offline. Start the tour in the app, put your phone in your pocket, and let Sandra direct you through the streets.

The total walking distance is 2km and takes about an hour without stopping, but you can pause anytime! There are lots of bars and restaurants along the way for a quick stop – or a long one!

A must in Palma!
EmmaGghrn, 09-05-2022
The experience was smooth and very interesting! From small fun facts of each place to more general history of the city. We will definitely do it again in other cities. The autonomy and privacy it allows is much better than to be in a group tour (and excellent value for money). 100% recommend.
Excellent experience at your own pace

Very happy with this experience! Was accompanying my mother with reduced mobility and this was something we were able to do at our own pace as opposed to a traditional walking tour where we would have been left behind. Both of us found the content extremely interesting and the route was easy to follow. Excellent value for money. Will definitely look into these self-guided tours on future holidays. Thank you!

Fabulous Palma

Gave a general insight and was very easy listening to and worked well. Was my first time in majorca and a very short trip so helpful to have this guide at a time when no tours would have been available
